Joe was excellent at communicating throughout the whole process, even with a lot of schedule changes mainly due to weather. He initially came out to give me a quote and was able to remove a couple of smaller stumps that very same day, including one that had already been ground down by someone else but was growing back. Before tackling my bigger stump issues, he proactively handled calling the city to have all utility lines flagged (gas, cable, phone, etc.). Once that was complete, the weather turned rainy daily, so we agreed to wait until the ground wasn't a muddy mess. At this point, I trusted him completely, so I paid him upfront for the remaining work since I might not have been available on the final work days. Joe came back exactly as planned and finished the final stump removal, which was in a tricky area wedged between a green power box and my fence. I'm so glad he had a photo with his daughter in one of his ads; it’s what made me call him initially, and I can't imagine anyone else getting that stump out without causing damage to the utilities or the fence line! He completely cleaned up the area when he was finished, and all of this was done for a very fair price. I had 5 yards of river rock delivered this morning, but then realized I needed three stumps removed before adding the river rock. Joseph's expertise was instrumental in achieving that goal. Despite his initial unavailability until Saturday he demonstrated exceptional flexibility and kindness, agreeing to assist me on short notice and get this done for me today. Not only is Joey fast, reliable, and efficient, he is incredibly kind easy to talk to and made me feel at ease as he brought his equipment around my garden. My tree blew over during one of the high wind days this summer out here in Liberty Thrill and for months I’ve been starring at an ugly stump. To begin with Joe, the owner, has a great deal of experience but he also has the right high powered equipment for the job. He knocked out 60+ stumps for us in one day some of which were massive. His communication is top notch professional and his pricing was super competitive. Besides grinding stumps Joe’s passion is his daughter Oakley who was born with down’s syndrome. Joe uses his spare time to advocate for Oakley and others like her. At the end of the job he cleaned the job site and cleaned the job site. Super outstanding work and customer service. Unfortunately I am out of tree stumps. See more See less
